Docs are rich-text pages everyone can edit at the same time. There’s no Save button: changes appear for everyone as you type.

  1. + New›Doc, and give it a title.
  2. Type. Use the toolbar for headings, bold, lists, quotes, code and dividers. CtrlB and CtrlI work too.

Headings show in the Outline, to jump between sections.

  • Type @ to link an object, graph, task or teammate.
  • Click Embed in the toolbar to show a file as a live card in the doc: an object’s fields, a table, a graph, another doc, or art from your assets. Paste an image to add it.
  • You see everyone’s cursor and name as they type.
  • Press / to chat from your cursor, or hold Space to talk.
  • Select text to comment on it, or to Ask the assistant about it (if the assistant is on). It can suggest a rewrite you can replace the passage with.

Referenced by, in the doc’s header, lists every file that links to it.
