Files and folders

Find, create, sort and link everything in a project.

1 min read

Every doc, graph, object, table and board in a project sits in one shared tree of folders, in the sidebar.

  • Click + New in the sidebar, or
  • Press CtrlK (⌘ K on Mac), type, and pick New…

New files go into the folder you last clicked.

Press CtrlK (⌘ K) and type. It searches every file, and shows your recent ones first. You can also teleport to a teammate, which jumps to the file they have open.

  • Drag files and folders to move them, or right-click → Move to…
  • Right-click a folder to rename or delete it. Deleting a folder moves what’s inside up a level: nothing is lost.
  • Use Sort to order by name, last edited or created. Folders stay on top.

Type @ in a doc, a graph card, a task or an object to link another file or mention a teammate. Click the link to open it.

Each file lists what links to it under Referenced by, so you can see where a character or a mechanic is used.

Files open in tabs at the top. Middle-click a link to open it in a new tab. Right-click a tab to close others or keep it open.

CtrlZ undoes your last change (a moved card, a deleted file…). CtrlShiftZ redoes it.

  • Export JSON saves the whole project to one file.
  • Import a file, either added to this project (good for starter content) or replacing everything. Only owners can import.
