Activate your license
Activate Qwest on your server, online or with no internet.
Do this once, right after making the first account.
Activate
Section titled “Activate”- Sign in as the instance admin.
- Open Instance admin›License.
- Paste your license key (it starts with
QWEST1.). - Click Activate.
It says Activated. From now on, the license is checked on your server, offline.
No internet on the server
Section titled “No internet on the server”If the server can’t reach the internet, Qwest offers to activate with codes:
- On Instance admin›License, copy the request code.
- On any device that’s online, open licensing.qwest.dev/activate and paste it.
- Copy the code it gives back.
- Paste it in Qwest and click Finish activation.
Refresh after a renewal or new seats
Section titled “Refresh after a renewal or new seats”After you renew or buy seats, click Refresh license on the same page to bring them to your server.
Deactivate
Section titled “Deactivate”To free this server’s slot (for example before reinstalling it elsewhere), click Deactivate. The server goes back to evaluation, and the license can be activated on another server.
If the old server is gone, free its slot from your account instead.
Each license can be active on 2 servers at once, for example a main one and a test one.
