Market
Competitors, store pages, creators and publishers for a Steam release.
Market is your research for launching on Steam, in four sections.
Competitors
Section titled “Competitors”The games your players would compare yours with.
- Click Add competitor and paste a Steam store link or app id.
- Qwest fetches its price, reviews, players and release date, and refreshes them every day, so trends build up from the day you add it.
You see median price, reviews and estimated revenue across them. Revenue is an estimate: Steam publishes no sales numbers. Their release dates show on your calendar.
Your capsule among theirs shows your Steam capsule next to theirs at the size Steam shows it. It uses the image in the Header capsule slot of your Steam page asset list, or any image you pick.
Store pages
Section titled “Store pages”Steam pages done well, to learn from. Add a page, then tag what works (a capsule that pops, a hook that lands) and filter by tag.
Creators
Section titled “Creators”Streamers, YouTubers, journalists and bloggers who could talk about your game.
- Add creator, then their channels, contact and notes.
- Move them through To contact›Contacted›Replied›Covered (or Declined).
- Make a tracked link for each one. It leads to your Steam page and counts who follows it, so you see what their coverage brings.
Publishers
Section titled “Publishers”Publishers you could sign with, side by side: your revenue share, advance, recoupment, IP, platforms, territories, and pros and cons.
Upload a contract or term sheet. With the assistant on, AI fill reads it and fills in the terms. Always check them against the contract.
