Plugins
Turn Home's sections on and off, and write your own plugins.
Everything on a project’s Home page, below its name, is a plugin: the roadmap, recent files, your next tasks, activity, the daily design question, team clocks…
Turn plugins on and off
Section titled “Turn plugins on and off”Owners open Project settings›Plugins and switch each card on or off.
In Home layout, move plugins up and down with the arrows. Reset goes back to the default order.
Write your own
Section titled “Write your own”A custom plugin is one HTML file (markup, <style> and <script>) that shows on Home.
- Project settings›Plugins›New plugin, or Duplicate a built-in one to start from it.
- Write it in the editor. Only code that compiles can be saved.
- Pick its permissions:
read,write,delete,members,ai.
Plugins reach the project through the qwest object. Every call runs as the person viewing the plugin, so a plugin can never do more than its viewer:
const tasks = await qwest.tasks.mine(5)await qwest.storage.set('lastSeen', Date.now())const idea = await qwest.ai.generate('A boss idea for a forest level')Plugins run in a sandbox: no network, no cookies, no access to the rest of the app. Only owners can add, edit or turn on plugins, since their code runs for everyone in the project.
Put // @section Design in a plugin’s code to file it under a section in the plugins grid.
