How licensing works
License keys, activation, seats and updates for self-hosted Qwest.
Self-hosted Qwest is bought once and owned. You activate it once over the internet, and from then on the license is checked on your own server, offline.
Your license key
Section titled “Your license key”You get a license key by email when you buy. It starts with QWEST1. and names your studio. It never changes, so keep it safe: it’s also how you sign in to your account.
What your account page does
Section titled “What your account page does”At licensing.qwest.dev/account, signed in with your key:
- Download every release your license covers.
- See which servers it’s activated on, and free a server’s slot.
- Activate a server that has no internet (offline activation).
